As you may know, Dr. Lindsay Penchan is pregnant and will soon be welcoming baby boy Smith into the Josey Lane Dentistry family. While she is out on maternity leave, a friend and dental school classmate of hers, Dr. Mitra Bolouri, will be taking over her patient load. Dr. Bolouri hails from Dallas and attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she graduated with a bachelor degree in biology while minoring in sociology She continued her education at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry (with Dr. Penchan!) and after graduation has been an active member of the Dallas Country Dental Society and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Bolouri comes from a rich dental background; her father, a prosthodontist, has taught at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry for over 40 years. In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Bolouri enjoys spending time both in the garden and in the kitchen or curled up with a good book. She lives with her husband, Nelson, and their two cats, Charlie and Otis.
